Southern Learning Series: Herbed Salts - November 17th, 2024

Get ready to take your holiday cooking and gift giving to the next level with beautiful herbed salts. In this fun class, taught by historic Turlington House host Kelly Sopp, you will learn about the different types of salts, and the regions they come from. You’ll blend and roast them with various herbs, culinary flowers and zests to create the perfect flavored blends for baking, grilling, roasting, and creating salted deserts. You will take home four custom salt blends to use, or give away as gifts. A light lunch and beverages will be served.

Parking:
There are a few spots in the driveway, and there is street parking on the West side of the street (across from the Turlington House).

Note:
Dress comfortably. We will be standing quite a bit, but stools are provided. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. Please inform us in advance via email of any dietary allergies or special needs so that we can best accommodate you. 

We may snap a few pictures or short clips of video during class to promote future classes. By attending, you give us permission to do so. If you are highly opposed, just let us know before we get started.

*Because we pre purchase your supplies and ingredients, classes are not refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, please provide 48 hour notice and we can exchange your class for another date that’s available.
