How To Be Neighborly

When you move to the south, it’s likely you’ll be welcomed with scratch-made pie from one of your friendly and curious neighbors. Yes, this really happens and it’s the best thing in the world. But never, I repeat, never return a dish empty! You don’t have to bake a pie for Heaven’s sake, but a nice note and a chocolate bar or other thoughtful small gesture will go far in showing you respect the courtesy of neighbors.
