Same Ol' (Important) Routine.

  • 734 Salisbury Road Statesville, NC, 28677 United States (map)

This is cool. And important. So I’m just going to post the description from the organizer – the Iredell County Partnership for Young Children. :-)

Creating a school family begins the moment the children enter the room. From the way we greet them, to the way say goodbye, our classroom rituals play the biggest role in how children will respond throughout the day. What does it look like to be in a classroom that is developmentally appropriate and supports the growth of emotional intelligence? How do we create an environment that is safe for children physically and emotionally? Join us for a 2 part series training as we set the stage for building a school family that can transform the lives of children, families, and teachers by using the principles of Dr. Becky Bailey, CSEFEL, and other social/emotional techniques. In part 1 of this 2-part series, we will explore the rituals that create safe spaces for children and families. In part 2, we will focus on how to respond to behaviors within the school family that we have built.

And it’s only $5! Get tickets here!
