The Watermelon Margarita (Rocks)

Makes 2 scrumptious cocktails

Step 1: Dress the Rim.

Run a slice of lime around the rim of a highball glass, then dip it into a shallow dish of Sea salt with a hint of Tajin spice or cayenne pepper, to your liking.

Step 2: Shake the Drink. 

Put this fine concoction into a cocktail shaker and shake, shake, shake until it’s too cold to hold!

  • Ice, as needed

  • 6 oz fresh watermelon juice (from about 1½ cups chopped red, orange or yellow seedless watermelon, blended and strained)

  • 2 oz  blanco tequila

  • 2 oz orange liqueur (optional)

  • 2 oz fresh lime juice (from 1 to 2 large limes), 2 slices reserved

  • 2 to 3 thinly sliced jalapeño rounds (optional)

Step 3: Say Cheers! 

  • Pour over ice into two highball glasses. Raise your glass in a toast to smooth beverages and juicy gossip.
